Hazbin Hotel's Creator Is Aware of Your Second Season Bingo Cards — With Some Positive Updates

The much-anticipated Season 2 of the musical adult cartoon Hazbin Hotel arrives on the streaming platform this week, and audience theories has been widespread.

The first season presents a large cast of characters residing in Hell and Heaven, sets them at odds accompanied by songs detailing their conflicts, and builds heated competitions and angsty, affectionate connections that fuel fan obsession.

The community's expectations for the new season differ greatly, but certain themes recur frequently: Will Angel Dust escape his tormentor? Will we find out more about the mysterious "deal" constraining Alastor the Radio Demon? Might certain characters' relationships evolve?

"Naturally, I don't make the show with audience demands specifically in mind," the creator commented recently. "However I feel like me being a devotee of the series means there's a lot of it just naturally. I also want to see these things, and I hope some of these things to occur, and obviously some of these things are meant to happen in the show!"

She says her big-picture plan is for a five-season run of Hazbin Hotel. Future installments have already been green-lit by the production companies, which produce the series.

That could imply viewers have to be patient for some of the biggest payoffs — but they could be shocked at how quickly season 2 moves, and how much of what they're anticipating happens now.

"I feel like people are going to get a lot out of it," she adds. "We get some firsts. I think we receive some really amazing reveals, some fascinating backstories, and even basic elements, [like] I hope this character gets a song. […] Audiences will experience additional musical numbers from the characters we didn't get to hear before."

The creator is well-informed of the theories and desires about the upcoming season — especially in the format of audience prediction charts.

"I've seen a few fans make a prediction grid about season 2," she mentions. "Naturally I can't post it, but I've actually done a few items, and nearly every one of them have almost a bingo. I thought, Oh, if you put this [event] in this spot, it would be a bingo. So that makes me think we do a lot [of what fans are waiting for in this season], because I realized, Oh, there's multiple potential bingos on this card. So that makes me happy."

Hazbin Hotel season 2 launches on Prime Video on Oct. 29.
